  1. As much as I enjoyed The Simpsons growing up, watching it through adult eyes makes me raise an eyebrow. I think this show is appropriate for children over age 9 with supervision. Many of the show’s sexual jokes are blatant. The language can be a bit questionable as well. There is also some mild violence that younger kids may not understand, but may be drawn to because of the show’s animated nature. Although children are probably fascinated by this cartoon, I don’t think it’s appropriate for all. As the series has progressed, I believe it’s become more outlandish. I would let the older kids watch, but be aware.
