Are they old enough...
to work in a restaurant?

Generally, kids can begin working in the United States at the age of 14. And one of the most common ways to enter the workforce is through the restaurant industry as dishwashers or low-level line cooks. However, working in a kitchen presents a certain set of risks and dangers - hot stoves, oil spills, knives, and various other powered preparation tools. What do you think is a safe age to allow kids to work in restaurants?
